To get a Jordan Pass online, a few straightforward steps must be taken:

  1. Complete the online application form. Fulfill the boxes with your personal information, passport, and travel details. Make sure there are no mistakes or errors and all the boxes are complete.
  2. Make the payment. The processing fees can be covered via debit/credit card or PayPal.
  3. Download the approved Jordan Pass. The approval will be sent to the email address as a unique QR code. Save it onto your device.

The QR code will be requested at the entry to the attractions, so you must show it on your device. However, sometimes there may be technical issues, so we recommend you prepare a paper copy - this way, you will still be able to show the code even if your device ran out of power.

The application form for a Jordan Pass will request you to share some information of yours:

An applicant's passport is the only document mandatory for a Jordan Pass application.

The passport must be:

  • valid for at least 6 months (180 days) from the planned arrival date

Jordan Pass processing time

Usually, the processing time for a Jordan Pass is up to one business day. Nevertheless, it is still recommended to complete the application for a Jordan Pass at least a few days before the intended date of your travel.

Sometimes, during the popular tourist season, the number of applications may be significant, which causes delays in processing. Therefore, we highly advise you to apply in advance.

If you need a Jordanian visa and do not want to pay additionally, you should purchase the Jordan Pass first and apply for a visa only after that.

Note that to obtain a visa to Jordan without extra fees, you must have a stay lasting at least 4 days (3 nights).
