How to Apply for Jordan Pass

  1. Choose your pass type: Select the Jordan Pass package that best fits your travel plans, such as the one-day or three-day Petra option.
  2. Provide personal details: Enter your accurate contact and traveler information into the secure online form.
  3. Upload your passport: Attach a clear and legible scan of your valid passport's biographical page to verify your identity.
  4. Submit payment: Complete your purchase safely using the online payment portal.
  5. Receive and present: Check your email for your digital Jordan Pass, which you can display at the entrance of Petra and other included attractions.

NOTE: Your Jordan Pass must be activated within two months of the purchase date.

Information necessary to complete the Jordan Pass

The application form for a Jordan Pass will request you to share some information of yours:

  • full name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • the date of intended arrival
  • the amount of time to be spent in Jordan
  • the purpose of travel
  • type of accommodation
  • the airline used to travel to Jordan
  • accompanying persons

Please ensure that the provided data is completely accurate. Pay special attention to the email address since the Jordan Pass will be sent to the address entered in the form. If the email address is not correct, you won't receive the document.

Documents required for the Jordan Pass

An applicant's passport is the only document mandatory for a Jordan Pass application.

The passport must be:

  • of an eligible country
  • valid for at least 6 months (180 days) from the planned arrival date

To apply online for a Jordan Pass, applicants must also have:

  • a device, e.g. a smartphone/laptop/tablet/PC
  • stable internet connection - mobile/hardwired/WiFi

Jordan Pass processing time

Usually, the processing time for a Jordan Pass is up to one business day. Nevertheless, it is still recommended to complete the application for a Jordan Pass at least a few days before the intended date of your travel.

Sometimes, during the popular tourist season, the number of applications may be significant, which causes delays in processing. Therefore, we highly advise you to apply in advance.

If you need a Jordanian visa and do not want to pay additionally, you should purchase the Jordan Pass first and apply for a visa only after that.

Note that to obtain a visa to Jordan without extra fees, you must have a stay lasting at least 4 days (3 nights).
